We finally met Cosmo!

Last night Ryan and I had the chance to travel to Raymond, Alberta (well a farm just outside). Raymond is about 2.5 hours south of Calgary... Not too far, but far enough.

The Puppies are living on a farm just outside of Raymond with lots of other dogs, and their Mom and Dad of course!

We got to see Bo and her single pup, both are happy and healthy, and super cute!! We then got to meet Bullet's litter. Cosmo was in there! We just had to figure out which one he was!

As we were looking at all the pups, Todd (the breeder) pulled out the 3 light silver males and we went to the kitchen of the farm house to play with them and spend time with them. Ryan was handed a pup, I was handed a pup, and Todd brought a pup in the house too. As we were walking into the house I said to Ryan "Babe, Look! He's licking my neck!" As it turns out... this was Cosmo!!
We had a chance to spend about an hour with the pups (most of which was spent cuddling and sleeping) and Ryan and I both knew at the same time which one Cosmo was!

Finally! We found the newest addition to our Family that we have been waiting for!

We bought Cosmo's first toy the other night... We think he'll quite like it!

Update on Cosmo

So he's 3 weeks old, today is his 3 week birthday! 

We haven't met him yet, but that day is fast approaching!

Oh the nerves!

So... we had some excitement on Sunday morning. After emailing the breeders to ask of any news, we promptly received a reply that Bo had begun labor at 6 am, and they were waiting for the next pup to arrive. It often takes about a hour or sometimes two between pups, so they were just waiting and watching...

By the time we woke up this morning there was still no news of anymore puppies... was is possible that Bo only had one puppy?? Turns out... YES! She only had one little puppy! But they are both doing well.

So then what about our Cosmo? Where is he?
I guess he figured he'd have a different mama, named Bullet. She was bred to Mater at the same time as Bo, and gave birth on February 27, 2012.
