Change of plans....

So... Last Friday we got some sad news. The breeders we had chosen had informed us that they were unable to breed successfully as their stud dog had been injured, and his replacement was too late. This meant, no Cosmo, at least not right away. We were faced with the decision: stay with these breeders and wait another 6 months, or find another breeder in the area with a litter due around the time we were prepared for.

Our choice was to find a new breeder, Ryan and I have been waiting so long already and would really love to have our little guy for the summer... To train him, teach him and show him all the cools things we have here..

Today we went to meet a breeder we had found on the Internet. They are a very lovely couple with lovely kids, and amazing dogs! They let us meet all their dogs, even the ones that lived on the farm next door with the Grandparents. We met Bo and Mater, the first litter that is due, Bo is a beautiful light shade of silver and she is sweet as can be. Mater is a dark charcoal color that gives a nice blue-ish silver pup with his litters with Bo. They have been bred before, and appear to be a cute 'couple', playing and running in the yard together.

We are very excited with this breeder, they seem to be very educated on the breed, and are very friendly, welcoming us back as many times as we like to visit the pups once they are born....which will be around the end of February!
